- my difficulties as a teenager
- my family relationship
- my friends
- the happiest moments during my adolescence
- how I am trying to balance everything
- Depression
- my interests
- a day in my life
- my desire verses my responsibilities
- the best thing about being a teenager
- my fears
From all of these different topics I am thinking of choosing from My Friends, My Fears, A Day in my Life. This is one of the first times, which I am trying to express myself in a public place. As we have had covered before, I just noticed that it might also be harmful and riskful for me to "say it outloud to the people around the world" my personalities. Well, I guess it is a learning process and I would like to take a risk and talk about myself.
The Outlines for the 3 pre-Final podcast topics
My Friends
A. Introducing myself, (but not my name) just where I live and how old am I and ect.
- talk a little bit about the difficulties in my adolescence
- how I overcome those dificulties with my friends' help
- thank my friends
B. Talk about who are my friends (but not listing the names, giving characteristics)
- the difference between my friends and me
- how we share our difficulties
- how they are REAL FRIENDS compared to just common people I know
C. What I learn from my friends as well as what can I give them in return
D. Concluding all my ideas
- My friends and how they mean a lot to me
- Thanking them
- Ending with a quote of Mongolia. "People just an individual by his/her friends"
My Fears
A. Talking to the audience
- Asking Questions and them narrow down to my own ideas "fear"
- Give my definition of fear
B. Fears that other people tend to have
- like cockroaches, mice
- loneliness (mention that it is actually nice for me to be alone)
- narrow down to my fears as a teenager
C. Talk about my future (my fear)
- why do I fear my future
- my self confidence and level of independancy from others
- the advantages and disadvantages of my fear
- what I personally thought about my fear
D. Wrap up everything.
A Day in My Life
A. Introducing myself (also without mentioning my name)
- Talk about where I live and how
- Talk about how satisfied am I with my life
- Some of differences from other teenagers around me
- Why do I think I am different
- My principles
B. A Day in my life
- talk about my daily routine starting with going to school
- some of breaks in my daily routine
- talk about what I do after school and why
- relate my actions towards my goals
- at the end of each day, how do I try to organize everything up and observe what I did right and wrong that day
C. Conclusion
- talk about how my life is similar to others' and how its different, though the main point is what is the product after the day.
- Did I do at least a thing in order for my next goal or I screwed eveything up.
- Talk about how important time is for me; however I do procrastinate a lot.
From these three ideas, I am in most favor of My Fears. I want to let my opinion out of myself so that I am not just keeping inside and bursting with it. Other than that I think, this is one of the unique ideas which not everyone would prefer to choose. We, humans, do not really talk about our fears that much. As I have mentioned before, I would like to let my surrounding people know me better so that is why I chose this topic. I think, choosing my friends will concentrate more into external aspects rather than my personal characteristics. And then A Day In My Life topic is too much of a broad and at the same time very boring topic. So I think, from the very beginning, while I was making the list, I actually thought of fears as my best choice though there were so hesitation between the other 2 as well.
Design Specifications
- It should be a real podcast

The aim of my podcast will be to express my adolescence through the podcast to my close people. My intended audience will be teenagers even though I am concentrating more into my friends and family. The reason why I want teenager to listen to my podcast is because I want them to know that every teenager has problems at some extent; no matter how different they are. I would like to have the tone which inspires them to come over their difficulties.
Other than that I will use the itunes technique to record and publish my podcast. However I would like to use my phone voice recording function for my convinience though publishing on itunes. The reason why I am using itunes, its because of my audience. I am sure that most teenagers around the world use itunes rather than mypodcast.com or podomatic.com. So that will be my podcast is actually reachable for my audience.
