Criterion B - Design

For the Criterion B (Design) we are supposed to

• include 4 or 5 altered photos with fully described details
• each one to the design specifications I have made
• tell which design I am choosing
• give reasons why I chose this exact one
• evaluate the final (chosen) design against the design specifications

Design Specifications:

• multimedia (all of them will be)
• technology
• photof of me (no one else)
• has to express me and who I am
• neat
• it has to look like me
• unique or has at least one thing that makes different from others'
• not very colorful
• has to have something mysterious
• interesting for the audience
  

Designs

Note: when the photos match up with my design specifications it is written in blue and when it does not it is written in red. [ in brackets there may be some explanations or additional comments ]

Design #1:
- multimedia (all of them will be)
- technology
- photo of me (no one else)
- has to express me and who I am [ looks like an old picture from 1960s and I do not like it ]
- neat
- it has to look like me
- unique or has at least one thing that makes different from others' [ I can see nothing unique in there]
- not very colorful [ I do not like the color though ]
- has to have something mysterious [ the actual photo is mysterious especially the look ]
- interesting for the audience [ conservative ]
- I have to like it (additional)

Design #2:
- multimedia (all of them will be)
- technology
- photo of me (no one else)
- has to express me and who I am [ I do not like the idea of it showing only my face, I want a little bit of my body too. Its because on my Portrait Technology I want to express that I like my body too
- neat
- it has to look like me
- unique or has at least one thing that makes different from others' [ it has my name tag on it ]
- not very colorful
- has to have something mysterious
- interesting for the audience
- I have to like it (additional) [ I love it ]

Design #3:
- multimedia (all of them will be)
- technology
- photo of me (no one else)
- has to express me and who I am [ it has a tear drop on my cheek, which does not express my happiness and joy of life ]
- neat
- it has to look like me [ looks a little different because it was a little while ago - maybe a year or so ]
- unique or has at least one thing that makes different from others'
- not very colorful
- has to have something mysterious [ the whole idea of the tear links to this category ]
- interesting for the audience
- I have to like it (additional) [ I like it, but this exact one does not suit for this project because it makes me look weak ]

Design #4:
- multimedia (all of them will be)
- technology
- photo of me (no one else)
- has to express me and who I am [ when I look at this photo I feel calm and it really looks like what I was looking for ]
- neat
- it has to look like me [ maybe I look prettier =]
- unique or has at least one thing that makes different from others' [ white face and the bold dark hair looks unnatural but looks special, the shades hiding under my neck looks mysterious, which makes it unique ]
- not very colorful
- has to have something mysterious
- interesting for the audience [ I am not 100% sure, but it looks interesting to me because of the look on character's face. But it can still be judged through out my test at the very end this project ]
- I have to like it (additional)

Design #5:

- photo of me (no one else)
- has to express me and who I am [ I look crazier there ]
- neat
- it has to look like me [ not really ]
- unique or has at least one thing that makes different from others' [ it really looks unique because of the fact of my crazy facial expression ]
- not very colorful
- has to have something mysterious [ maybe the facial expression can mean mystery of happiness ]
- interesting for the audience [ maybe funny ]
- I have to like it (additional)

Design #6:

- photo of me (no one else)
- has to express me and who I am
- neat [ the camera was bad so the focus is not very concentrated ]
- it has to look like me
- unique or has at least one thing that makes different from others'
- not very colorful
- has to have something mysterious [ this is the category which this photos links to so well ]
- interesting for the audience
- I have to like it (additional)

The Chosen Photo - Design #4

As you can see, it matches all the criterion of my design specifications and it looks simple and neat. Since the hair is bold and black, when I create my product I would make it dark red, so that red is craziness and black is control. So balance those 2, expresses me. Some other designs were whether too bright or too dark, but design #4 has a great balance. As was mentioned above, I want my face to be white so no pimples or anything bad is not shown. Then my hair looks very nice, straight, black and healthy. Other than that I love this photo because the look on it is just very mysterious. I believe this is the best photo of me ever. Plus I do not look fat on it.
